At the Vietnam-Poland economic forum held in Ho Chi Minh city on Friday,  city authorities also expressed their hope that the two countries would further promote their cooperation, especially in information technology, auxiliary industries and green technology.  Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Katarzyna Kacpercryk spoke at the event: "The two-way turnover between Vietnam and Poland has reached 1.2 billion USD. We hope that the visit will contribute to increasing trade between the two countries but also result in concrete investment projects both in Vietnam and Poland".

Poland now has 10 investment projects in Vietnam with a total capital of more than 100 million USD. There are two Polish-invested projects in Ho Chi Minh city with capital reaching 350,000 USD. Two-way trade turnover between Poland and Ho Chi Minh city was estimated at 45 million USD in the first 5 months of this year, mainly in the real estate, manufacturing and processing sectors.
