(VOVworld) - Vietnam expects that 600 and 700 communes nationwide will have met all the criteria for new rural areas this year. This year’s agenda for the new rural development program will focus on achieving a number of important criteria including per capita income, the number of laborers with frequent jobs, poverty reduction, transportation, and irrigation. Priority will also be given to building essential infrastructure to aid people’s daily life and production.
