(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong stressed that inspection was the task and function of the whole party. He made the remarks at a ceremony to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission in Hanoi on Wednesday, praising the sector’s achievements and progress over the past 65 years.

Party leader Trong said: "The party organizations at all levels, and their leaders, are urged to implement the task of inspection and supervision with specific programs and annual plans. It’s very important to supervise the implementation of Party Resolutions, Directives, and Regulations. The implementation of the Resolution on Party building should be combined with that of the Politburo’s Directive on following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples."
The Party’s first inspection body, the Central Inspection Commission, was established on October 16th, 1948. The agency has since improved its work quality to strengthen the party leadership and the work of party building.
