WHO: Vietnam leads the world in tuberculosis prevention
(VOVWORLD) - Director of the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s Global Tuberculosis Programme Tereza Kasaeva has lauded Vietnam’s achievements in tuberculosis prevention.

She made the remarks at a working session with a Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Health Minister Le Quang Cuong on the sidelines of the 71st World Health Assembly held in Geneva, Switzerland from May 21-26. She wished Vietnam would share its experience with countries hit by the disease and attend the UN General Assembly High-Level Meeting on Ending Tuberculosis between now and 2030, scheduled for this September in New York.
