(VOVworld) – A program to show young Vietnamese physicians’ support for fishermen was held in Nui Thanh district in Quang Nam province on Sunday.

More than 100 fishermen were provided trained in first aid at sea and 250 people were given free medical check-ups and medicine. On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union presented 20 scholarships to children of poor fishermen. The program will continue its activities in several more districts in Quang Nam province.
