Activities underway to commemorate Hung Kings' death anniversary
(VOVWORLD) - Many activities are being held nationwide to commemorate the Hung King’s death anniversary.

Leaders of HCM City on Saturday organized an event to pay tribute to the Hung Kings. In her address, Tran Thi Yen, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in HCM City, said HCM City people are determined to contribute to national development.

Leaders and local people of Khanh Hoa province attended an incense offering ceremony at the Hung Kings Temple in Nha Trang city.
The local administration and people in Kon Tum province attended a ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings. On the sidelines, there are folk games and art performances and a sticky rice cake wrapping competition.
Phan The Ngoc, Head of the Luong Khe temple executive board said, "Organizing a commemoration of the Hung King’s death anniversary helps people better aware of history of the Hung King’s national founding and construction and creates an opportunity for young people to learn more about Vietnamese history and culture. We hope to raise people’s sense of responsibility for the nation."
