Vietnam is the country most affected by unexploded bombs and mines. The performance aimed to raise people’s awareness of the American war’s aftermaths and support the victims of UXOs. Nguyen Trong Dam is the Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs: “We will continue to call on organizations, enterprises, and the community to support the program to deal with the aftermath of bombs and mines. We hope eventually to make Vietnam a country free of bombs and mines”.
Vietnam has made great progress in its national action program to overcome bombs and mines. Vietnam has cleared 3.26 percent of the areas contaminated with bombs and mine.
