(VOVworld) - Fifteen collectives and individuals were honored for their enthusiasm, creativity and contributions to national construction and defense at the 2015 ‘Vietnam Glory’ program held in Hanoi on Tuesday.

The award recipients were outstanding workers, engineers, businessmen and scientists who have contributed their intellect to national construction and defense. President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Dang Ngoc Tung addressed the event: "I hope the honorees of the “Vietnam Glory” program over the past 12 years will continue to promote their vanguard role in any patriotic movements to further contribute to national development. I hope the program will grow and become an ever more prestigious event with a positive impact on society."
