(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Information and Communications on Friday launched a contest themed “Vietnam-International Integration Process” for journalistic works.

Deputy Minister of the Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao said the contest aimed to raise awareness of central and local agencies, organizations, enterprises, and the public about Vietnam’s international integration process. It will help promote domestic preparedness, especially with regard to economic integration, inform local businesses and overseas Vietnamese businesses of the benefits and the challenges of integration in the context of globalization.

Bao called for quality journalistic articles that contribute to the nation’s development and promote Vietnamese people and culture, Vietnam’s achievements in the renewal and international integration processes, to overseas Vietnamese and international community.

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens, journalists, and press agencies.
