Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh

At a conference in Hanoi on Friday to mark 70 years of the appeal, Ms. Thinh said the document shows the uniformity and consistency of Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on patriotic emulation and building a new life, society, and people. She reiterated that Vietnam’s patriotic emulation movement has evolved to match the revolutionary tasks of each development period: “The tremendous victories of Vietnam’s revolutions throughout history have embodied the effective organization of the Vietnamese people’s patriotic emulation movements. It provides momentum and creates enormous strengths, mobilizing talents and workforce for national struggles, construction, and defense.”

The Vice President said following Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, many outstanding people have been discovered and rewarded, becoming role models for the whole of society.
