(VOVWORLD) - The Hue Festival concluded on Wednesday night with a program featuring 12 performances by Vietnamese and foreign art troupes.

Vice Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue provincial People’s Committee and chief organizer Nguyen Dung spoke at the closing ceremony: "Hue Festival 2018 was a success thanks to the community and our foreign friends. Visitors enjoyed exciting and impressive performances by domestic and foreign art troupes."
The week-long Hue Festival 2018 hosted 40 art troupes from 20 countries and territories and attracted 1.2 million visitors. People’s Artist Nguyen Ngoc Binh presided over the closing ceremony: He said:"The closing ceremony featured cultures of several different regions of Vietnam. We hope this has convinced visitors to return for our next festival."
