Internaltional Children’s Day celebrated
(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology organized a “Traditional South-East Asian games” festival on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate International Children’s Day.

Children and tourists got an opportunity to experience the traditional cultural space of Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries through painting and modeling traditional costumes, performing folk songs, and making folk toys. Chu Tuan Linh of Hanoi said:“These activities were very interesting. Through games such as stilt walking, tug of war and painting, I got to learn something about the traditional culture of Vietnam and other South-East Asia countries.”
The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology also organized 8 puppet and water puppet shows for children. A special painting exhibition for children called “The children paint” was organized by the artist group Le Thiet Cuong on Sunday at 24-26 Ly Quoc Su street. The exhibition showcases nearly 30 paintings created by students from schools around Hanoi. The children got to free their imagination and feelings to the surrounding world in the pictures. Artist Nguyen Hong Phuong said:“The event aims to create a great memory for the children. Their paintings are very innocent and cute. They may turn out to be famous painters in the future. This playground really creates excitement and joy for the children.”
The exhibition will continue until June 7th.
