Libya tightens security ahead of revolution anniversary
Libya has announced it’s closing its borders and tightening security. The move comes ahead of the second anniversary of the revolution that toppled long-time leader Muammar Gaddafi.

A spokesman for the General National Congress says international borders will be closed until Monday, the 18th of February. Most international flights will be suspended, but flights will continue in and out of Tripoli and Benghazi. The government has also increased the military presence on the streets of the capital, Tripoli.
