(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s biggest thermal power plant has begun operation in the central province of Ha Tinh.


Speaking at the launching ceremony on Thursday, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said the 1.25 billion dollar plant exemplified Vietnam’s correct policy to promote internal strengths for national development, as the plant was invested and contracted by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Vietnam Machinery Corporation Lilama.
The Prime Minister asked the plant workers to ensure standard quality, environmental protection and contribute to national industrialization and modernization.
