(VOVworld) – On the occasion of the 39^th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, thousands of people from across the country have visited General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave in Vung Chua, Quang Binh province. These included many delegations of war veterans and students who came to pay their tribute to the General. Up to 620,000 people have visited General Giap’s burial site these days and the figure in April 30^th alone was more than 20,000.
