(VOVworld) – The UN will always be an important partner backing Vietnam to handle its post-2015 challenges. Pratibha Mehta, the UN coordinator in Vietnam, told the press that the Vietnamese government and the UN are building a post-2016 cooperative plan.
The UN will continue to support Vietnam in its global integration, the south-south mechanism, and its partnership with other countries. She said Vietnam should be proud of its achievements in economic development and poverty reduction.
The outcome of the renewal process has profoundly benefited Vietnam’s economy and people’s livelihoods, she said.
