(VOVworld) – On Thursday, a mid-autumn festival was held for disadvantaged children in Long Bien district, Hanoi. The program aims to encourage the children to do their best in their studies.

Nguyen Diep Anh, a student of Ba Dinh district’s Center for Continuing Education attended the event: “I think the program is very meaningful with magic, music performances and lion dancing. I feel happy and more optimistic in life”.

The Da Nang Association for Victims of Agent Orange/ Dioxin and enterprises presented 700 gifts to AO victims worth 150 million VND. Nguyen Thi Hien, Chairwoman of the Association, said: “The gifts encourage AO victims to further integrate into the community. I hope that individuals and organizations will be with us and help the victims relieve their pain”.
