At a mid-year review conference on Friday, delegates stressed the importance to continue to exploit the markets where air travel has been resumed allowing citizens to travel abroad and overseas Vietnamese to visit their hometowns after the COVID-19 pandemic. The major markets include South Korea, Japan, Western Europe, Australia, and ASEAN. Other potential markets include India, the US, the Middle East and Russian-speaking countries.
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will coordinate with localities, businesses, and the Tourism Development Support Fund to implement the "Live fully in Vietnam" program in order to further introduce Vietnam tourism in ASEAN, South Korea, Japan, India, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
VNAT will also participate in promoting Vietnam tourism at JATA Tourism Expo in Japan in September, and World Travel Market in London in November.
