At the opening ceremony on Friday, the Organizing Committee said the number of runners increases 150% against the previous season and is a record high number of any marathon tournaments in Vietnam.

Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race 2024 is the first marathon in Vietnam to be accompanied by Bach Mai Hospital as the official medical sponsor.

Being part of the world’s running system, Standard Chartered Marathon has laid a foundation for realizing the goal of putting Vietnam’s marathon on the world map, making Vietnam a favorite destination for international athletes, and contributing to Vietnam’s sustainable tourism development.
