Vietnam nominated to UN Security Council non-permanent membership
(VOVWORLD) -The Asia Pacific Group at the UN has nominated Vietnam as a non-permanent member at the UN Security Council for the General Assembly’s voting session next June.

Speaking in the group session on Friday, Ambassador and Head of the Vietnamese permanent mission at the UN, Nguyen Phuong Nga, pledged utmost to serve the trust and credibility by international friends and hoped for more support from them. The Asia Pacific Group is one of 5 regional groups at the UN with 54 countries among 193 UN member states.
