Vice Chairman of the Association, Pham Ngoc Hung, said: “The 100 businesspeople are leaders of companies which have recorded effective results and contributed sizably to the state budget. They have renovated business management and production and made practical contributions to society and charitable work.”
Vu Tien Loc, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said at the meeting. “The last decade was a long, hard period for Vietnamese businesses. Hundreds of thousands of companies were closed down. At time 60% to 70% of the companies were not making a profit. The economic crisis has helped companies to adjust their business strategy and management and pay more attention to risk management.”
Vietnamese companies have been recruiting 11 million employees. With the motto of taking the lead in renovation and ready for integration, Vietnamese businesspeople are at the vanguard of national economic development.
