Moscow conference highlights Vietnam’s renewal
(VOVWORLD) - A round-table conference themed: “APEC 2017 in Vietnam: Regional Development Opportunities” was held in Moscow on Wednesday.

Vietnam’s achievements during 30 years of renewal, its external trade activites and diplomatic policies, and its economic integration topped the agenda. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Mazyrin, Director of the Far East Institute's Vietnam-ASEAN Research Centre at Russia's Science Academy, said: “As a participant in APEC this year, Vietnam hopes to strengthen its influence and position in the Asia-Pacific region. Vietnam has a dynamic economy thanks to high and sustainable growth, and has strongly supported many APEC innitiatives. Vietnam is a role model in encouraging and supporting SMEs.”
Mazyrin added that Vietnam’s second time hosting APEC proves that its economic achievements are appreciated internationally.
