(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) has unveiled and celebrated the top 10 digital technology companies of 2023. Over the past decade, this annual program has been a testament to the remarkable expansion of Vietnam’s information technology sector, serving as a motivation and inspiration for the country’s technology business community, while also propelling the nation’s digital transformation journey.

According to VINASA, the Vietnamese digital business landscape is experiencing robust growth, boasting a staggering 70,000 enterprises. The revenue generated from the information technology sector in 2022 reached 148 billion USD, marking a fourfold increase compared to a decade ago. The workforce within this domain has seen substantial expansion, with over 300,000 professionals now actively contributing to its success.
Notably, technology companies honored as the Top 10 Vietnamese digital technology businesses last year achieved a combined revenue exceeding 7 billion USD. This remarkable accomplishment accounts for nearly 44% of the total revenue generated by Vietnam’s information technology software and services sector in 2022.
Despite economic fluctuations, digital technology businesses continue to exhibit remarkable growth. In the export service market, MOR Software and Savvycom doubled their growth, while CMC Global experienced a substantial 70% increase. Within the domestic market, One Mount surged by 80%, both Viettel Cyber Security and FPT Smart Cloud soared by 100%, and ITSOL witnessed a remarkable 90% growth.
Many of the businesses earning recognition in the Top 10 category are making strategic investments in cutting-edge research and development, focusing on semiconductor chips, Generative AI, and Blockchain.

“We collaborate closely with the Government in the initiative to foster the growth of Vietnamese digital enterprises. This partnership aims to identify businesses with promising technology products and robust technological capabilities, facilitating their ongoing development,” Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, VINASA Deputy Chairwoman and General Secretary, said.
This year’s program has been marked by numerous inspiring success stories. For instance, Viettel Solutions has established 36 IOC smart operating centers, facilitating digital transformation across 32 provinces and cities. OneMount Group is driving digital transformation in over 100,000 grocery stores, contributing to the widespread integration of digitization across various facets of daily life.
VNPT and MobiFone are rolling out digital platforms tailored for the agriculture and tourism sectors. FPT has conducted research and production of semiconductor chips, with orders now underway. Rikkeisoft, in its remarkable 10‑year journey since inception, has evolved from its initial 5 founding members to an impressive workforce of 1,500 employees, boasting an annual growth rate of 180%.
