Lord Buddha’s birthday celebrated in Hanoi

(VOVWORLD) - The Patronage Council and Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha solemnly held a ritual at Quan Su Pagoda in Hanoi on May 15 to observe the 2,565th birth anniversary of Lord Buddha.
After more than 2 years of being heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Buddha’s Birthday 2022 is being held at all pagodas with safe adaptation and effective control for the wide public to attend.

Following the government’s recent decision to ease COVID-19 measures, socio-economic and cultural activities, including religious rituals, have returned to normal. |
