Vietnamese at home, abroad celebrate Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in solemnity
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese both at home and abroad are celebrating the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day (the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month) with many cultural and sports activities to honor the nation's founding fathers.

Overseas Vietnamese communities in many countries around the world are also celebrating the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in their own ways.

The Hung Kings' Commemoration Day is a meaningful event for overseas Vietnamese as it not only fosters unity but also educates the younger generations about their ancestors, homeland, and national identity, said the association's chairman, Mr. Pham Van Hung.

Vice President of Union of Vietnamese Organizations in Russia, Nguyen Canh Hong Linh said: "We celebrate the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day every year, not only to remember our roots but also to pass down our traditions to the younger generation, so that they can continue to preserve our national identity even in a far-away land. The Hung Kings' Commemoration Day was observed in Paris on April 6, 2025. Both overseas Vietnamese and international friends attended the event, which was held by the Vietnamese Embassy in France and the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France.
