(VOVworld) – The ten winners of the Vietnam Outstanding Youth Award 2016 were named on Friday to acknowledge their enormous contributions to Vietnam’s research, business management, social security, national defense, and sports.

Among them are Dinh Thi Huong Thao of the Hanoi University for Natural Sciences who won gold medals at the International Physics Olympiad 2015 and 2016, Giang Seo Chau of Lao Cai province who mobilized nearly 1 million USD in 4 years for the new-style rural area building program, and Ta Dinh Huy of Hanoi who invented a multifunctional agricultural machine.

The award ceremony will be held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Fund for Vietnam’s Young Talents next Sunday, following by a pilgrimage to Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc province. Then they will have a dialogue with First Secretary of the Youth Union Le Quoc Phong.
