(VOVworld) – The 10^th Party Congress of Dong Nai province opened on Tuesday. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung asked the province to continue restructuring its economy and growth model to improve competitiveness and efficiency and investing in potential areas.

He said available resources should be mobilized to boost new rural development. Prime Minister Dung asked the province to coordinate with relevant ministries and sectors to ensure the progress of key projects, particularly the building of Long Thanh airport: “The province should make greater efforts to achieve rapid, sustainable growth and become an industrial province by 2020.

The province should also focus on social security, job generation, sustainable poverty reduction, and improving people’s living conditions.”
