(VOVworld) – An art program celebrating the success of the 12^th National Party Congress was held in Hanoi on Thursday involving approximately 1,500 artists.

In an address, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong called the Party Congress a new milestone in national construction and defense: “We are determined to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching of strengthening unity within the Party to lead the nation on the path chosen by the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the people. I hope that Party committees, administrations, fatherland fronts, and the people will remain united and engage in patriotic emulation movements to help turn Vietnam into a modern industrial nation.”

Cultural activities were also held in HCM city.
