1300 international observers to monitor Russian presidential election
(VOVWORLD) -There will be over 1300 international observers to monitor the Russian presidential election on March, 18, said the Central Election Commission Deputy Chairperson Nikolai Bulaev.

420 of the observers belong to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly. More than 100,000 Russians cast their ballots ahead of official election time.
According to the latest poll, 69 percent of voters favor President Vladimir Putin. 7% favor Pavel Grudinin, the Communist party candidate, who is polling in second place.
