A commendation ceremony and a review of the two-year campaign on “Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style” was held by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour in Hanoi on Sunday.

Addressing at the event, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Education and Communications Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia praised the collectives and individuals and he suggested that the Trade Union continue to identify "Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style" as an important task in political, ideological and moral education of cadres, union members, public employees and workers.

“We must further replicate good and effective models in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh, so that the movement will be reflected in each specific job and becomes a more regular, substantive action for the legitimate interests of union members. It’s necessary to study, supplement and perfect the ethical standards of trade union officials in accordance with the new conditions, so that Vietnamese trade unions will really be an organization of workers, by workers and for workers,  Nghia said.
