Democrat Hillary Clinton had a four-point lead over Republican Donald Trump in the final national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll of the 2016 presidential race. Ms. Clinton is supported by 44 percent of likely voters, while Trump has 40 percent, according to the poll. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has 6 percent, and the Green Party's Jill Stein has 2 percent.
On Monday, FBI Director James Comey announced that Hillary Clinton should not face criminal charges related to newly discovered emails from her tenure at the State Department. The statement was made after the FBI reopened its investigation of Ms. Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as US Secretary of State.
