(VOVworld) – The 14^th Vietnam Poetry Day was observed on Monday at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi. The event featured 26 poetry clubs from around the country reading poems about Vietnam’s sea and islands, national borders, spring, and love.

At celebrations to mark the day in Ho Chi Minh City, poetess Minh Dan told VOV: "One of the 14^th Vietnam Poetry Day’s highlights is a combination of poems and stage performances on the national sea and islands. This year we organized forums for young and old poets to share their love of poetry and suggest ways to improve literary activities in Ho Chi Minh City."

A program was held in Moscow for Russian students studying Vietnamese to share their knowledge of , and love for, Vietnam’s literature, culture, and cuisine. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha was the event’s organizer: "Programs like this help Russian students improve their Vietnamese and promote Vietnam’s language and culture to the world."
