(VOVworld) – The 16^th volume of Russian war veterans’ memoirs was first introduced and presented to its authors on Tuesday at the Russian State Library in Moscow.

Entitled “From a soldier to a general – Memoirs of the war”, the volume features memoirs of an intelligence staff and 25 war veterans participating in wars in Vietnam, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Cuba, and Syria. 17 of the volume’s authors participated in Vietnam War and many of them are participating in various activities related to Vietnam today. Addressing the book launch, Evgeniy Ivanovich Shol, President of the Academy of Sciences, hailed the publication of memoirs of war veterans who have fought in various wars worldwide since World War II.
