Deputy Minister of Information and Communications and Chairman of Vietnam Digital Communications Association Nguyen Minh Hong spoke at the launch ceremony.

Award categories include social networking, mobile applications, online games, e-commerce services, and digital solutions for the disabled. A second group of categories includes digital applications in the finance-banking sector, tourism, entertainment, education and training, health care, and agriculture.

The 2018 Vietnam Digital Awards ceremony will be held in November.
