Images of the past century are placed next to today's newspaper covers evoke fond memories and nostalgia.

“The old spring newspaper is always in my memories. When I was a child, I loved newspapers, I loved spring newspapers very much. Every spring, my father is given a lot of newspapers, so I read them a lot."

“Tet newspapers are food for thought and I want to spend time to learn about them. The old pages of newspapers are very precious. The images evoke emotions of the traditional Lunar New Year.”

Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Communications and Education Commission, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said the exhibition showcases the enthusiasm and creativity of generations of Vietnamese journalists.

“We have decided to display spring newspapers of the past so that the general public can admire how interesting they are. Visitors pay much attention to these paintings, making this year's National Press Festival special. We hope that such cultural highlights will be held regularly in the annual National Press Festival," Minh said.
