2000 Iranian protesters condemn weekly Charlie Hebdo

(VOVworld) -  Thousands of protesters gathered at the French Embassy in Tehran on Monday demanding the French ambassador be expelled. The crowd were protesting against the latest edition of Charlie Hebdo, which caricatured the Prophet Muhammad on its cover and condemned the embassy for forcing women to remove their veils in order to get a visa. The protesters also criticized Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif for making the trip to Paris just two days after the disgraceful cartoon was published.
