2014 Boao Forum focuses on Asia’s development
(VOVworld) – Talks about Asia’s economic prospects in 2014 and round table meetings for Asian youths and leaders of groups and trans-national companies are among dozens of activities beginning today in connection with the 2014 Boao Forum which will officially open on Thursday. The event in south China's Hainan province themed “Asia's New Future: Identifying New Growth Drivers” welcomes Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and 10 state leaders. Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam is attending the forum along with 3,000 politicians, entrepreneurs, and scholars from around the world.

The 4-day forum will consist of 58 sessions in which participants will discuss reform, innovation, and sustainable development.
Security is given special attention during the Boao Forum, one of China’s biggest foreign relations events in 2014.
