(VOVworld) - This year’s Hanoi Run for Children took place at the Reunification Park, Hanoi, on Sunday to raise funds for the treatment of disadvantaged children with cancer and heart disease.

Health Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Tien who is also president of the Vietnam-Canada Friendship Association, said at the event: “Vietnam still has many children suffering from cancer and heart disease who are in need of great support from the community to have a healthy and happy life. We hope in the future we can attract more benefactors to help the children.”
