(VOVworld) - The 2015 National Buddhist Festival started on Friday in Quang Ninh province. Participants will review past dissemination of the faith and propose ideas to promote this work in the future. The festival will feature a series of activities including a seminar on Truc Lam Zen Buddhism, a requiem for war martyrs, and a commemoration celebrating the 707^th anniversary of the attainment of Nirvana of King Monk Tran Nhan Tong, the third king of the Tran Dynasty (1226-1400) and founder of the Truc Lam Zen Buddhist Sect.
