(VOVworld) – The best startup projects of the year were announced at the final round of the 2016 Startup competition on Tuesday in Hanoi.

This year’s competition to promote startup ideas among young people was expanded to include remote mountainous areas. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said this year’s competition received 412 entries from 30 provinces and cities: “The competition helps to change young people’s business awareness and give them a forward-looking orientation. Many projects from remote mountainous areas have taken part and startup clubs were set up at universities following this competition”.
