(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese government has made great effort in promoting the youth’s participation in policy building amid its fast-paced socio-economic development.
Head of UNESCO Ha Noi Office Michael Croft made the remark at an event celebrating International Youth Day 2018 on Friday. Mr. Croft said the UN will continue supporting Vietnamese youth in building and implementing policies that have direct impacts on young generations.
International Youth Day (August 12) has been observed by UN General Assembly since 1999. This year’s Youth Day is themed “Safe Spaces for Youth”.
