2019 Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival draws huge crowds
(VOVWORLD) - More than 50,000 domestic and foreign visitors attended the 2019 Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival which wrapped up in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on Saturday.

A coffee trade fair attracted 230 producers and exporters at home and abroad while 38 investment projects worth more than 3 billion USD were announced at a conference to promote investment in the Central Highlands.
“The festival has popularized Vietnamese coffee, particularly Buon Ma Thuot coffee’s brand and geographical indication in the international market. We aim to make Buon Ma Thuot a global coffee destination and are also attracting investment in agriculture, processing, and renewal energy development,” said Nguyen Tan Ha, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak provincial People’s Committee.
Vietnam is the world’s second biggest coffee exporter, after Brazil.
