(VOVWORLD) - The 3rd Mong ethnic Cultural Day will be celebrated in September in the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau.

Visitors can observe Mong folk singing, folk dancing, traditional costumes, games, and rituals. The festival will also feature activities to promote tourism, trade, and investment in Lai Chau and 13 other provinces.
The Mong are one of the most populous ethnic groups in Vietnam. They live mostly in the mountains, 1,000 meters or more above sea level, in the northern region, in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An province, and in the Central Highlands.
