The contest affirms the importance of protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, refuting false and hostile views, and enhancing the awareness and responsibility of Party Committees, organizations, and members and cadres and citizens.
The contest is open to Vietnamese people at home and overseas whose entries meet the contest’s criteria. The deadline for receiving entries is July 15.
Prof. Nguyen Xuan Thang, head of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, said the contest is an opportunity to review theoretical and practical issues that have arisen in the 40 years of Vietnam’s renewal process and contribute to upcoming Party events.
Thang said: “The entries of this 4th contest will focus on major issues in promoting and protecting the ideological foundation of the Party and refuting false and hostile views. 2024 is a mid-term year when many activities are being organized to prepare for the Party Congress. Entries will contain recommendations, proposals, and ideas for successfully implementing the Resolutions of the 13th Party Congress and preparing for the next Congress.”
