(VOVWORLD) - More than 2,700 medical workers and students around Vietnam have been supporting COVID-19 efforts in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces, the two worst COVID hotspots in northern Vietnam.

More than 24,000 teachers and students from 38 medical colleges have also volunteered to help the two provinces combat COVID-19.
Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long said this is the largest medical personnel mobilization ever seen in Vietnam.
Medical experts have also been providing online consultation for critical COVID-19 patients.
