(VOVworld)-  The 2^nd Tea Culture Festival opened in the northern province of Thai Nguyen on Saturday to promote Vietnamese tea, its value and tradition as well as tea producers. Addressing the festival, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung expressed his belief that the Vietnamese tea industry and that in Thai Nguyen province will continue to develop and Vietnamese tea brands will be more popular in the world. Hung highlighted the uniqueness of Vietnamese tea culture. Thai Nguyen tea is not only popular at home but has also been exported to some countries. The province’s tea exports account for one fifth of Vietnam’s total tea exports.
