300 people register to donate organs
(VOVWORLD) - 300 people registered on Sunday to donate their organs for scientific research at an event organized by the National Coordinating Centre for Human Organ Transplantation, the Buddhism Today Foundation, and Giac Ngo pagoda in Ho Chi Minh city.

6,000 people having volunteered to donate their body after they die to save others in need.
The National Coordination Centre for Organ Transplantation was established at Việt Đức Hospital in 2013. It connects organ donors with individuals waiting for an organ transplant. There are 13 hospitals in Vietnam that can perform organ transplants.
