32 earthquakes hit Kon Tum in 24 hours
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam's central highlands province of Kon Tum experienced 11 earthquakes from midnight Sunday until Monday morning. It was hit by 21 earthquakes on Sunday and a total of 32 earthquakes in 24 hours.

The Institute of Geophysics forecast that Kon Tum will brace itself for more earthquakes in the coming days.
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred at noon on Sunday in Kon Plong and caused tremors in neighboring localities. Many house walls cracked and authorities issued a level two disaster risk warning.
The earthquakes caused tremors in Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam, as well as the provinces of Ubon Ratchathani and Sakhon Nakhon in northeastern Thailand.
