(VOVworld) – At the end of 2014, there were 320 Australian FDI projects in Vietnam, with a total registered capital of 1.65 billion USD, according to the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment. Head of the Agency Do Nhat Hoang said Australia is an important investment partner, ranking 19 among 101 countries and territories investing in Vietnam. But Australian investment remains modest in comparison to the bilateral cooperation potential, Hoang added, noting that both countries should create more opportunities for their businesses to exchange to boost trade and investment cooperation.
