32,000 people visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on weekend
(VOVWORLD) -Some 32,000 people, including nearly 1,700 foreigners, paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum from Saturday to Sunday on the late leader’s 134th birth anniversary – May 19, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board reported.

To cater to the large number of visitors, the staff, soldiers, and units showed their high sense of responsibility and worked closely with each other to assure security and safety and leave a good impression on domestic and foreign visitors.
The Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board delivered bread and a bottle of water or milk free of charge to each visitor.
President Ho Chi Minh passed away in 1969. His body was embalmed and placed in a glass coffin inside the granite mausoleum.
